Camp Read/Sock Hop

What a great day we had!  We read in the tent (thank you Daubaras family) and around the campfire.  We had hot chocolate and cookies and sang campfire songs.  We made bear puppets and watched a video (thank you Elias).  In the afternoon we read some more, had 'sharing', then headed off to the gym for the Sock Hop. We learned the Hand Jive, Swing Dance, Twist, and Hula.  Everyone seemed to be having a great time.  At the end of the day we headed off to the computer lab.  Oh, did I mention that we also did a HUGE desk and room clean up!  I hope your children arrived home with all the things they brought this morning.  Have a wonderful weekend!
