Hundreds Day

The day after Valentine's Day happened to be 100's Day.  Thank you for bringing in the 100's collections!  As you can see from the pictures, we have been very busy using these collections during our math periods. The children have been counting and measuring their collections.  They have been reviewing patterning by stringing 100 beads in 10 patterns of 10.  They have been playing games that give them practice in counting to 100.  We have also been practicing oral counting by 1's, 2's 5's and 10's to 100.  What a great job the students have been doing in the Centres.  They work cooperatively, help each other when help is requested, stick to the task until it is completed, and do a thorough clean up job.
They have had a busy week, so hopefully you will all have a quiet weekend.
