Christmas Trees and Kindness

For the next little while we are working on acts of kindness.  Each day after recess and lunch, the children may share a kindness that SOMEONE ELSE has shown toward them.  They may then add that person's name to our "kindness wreath".  The acts of kindness range from "___said he really liked my Christmas tree picture" to ones where children help resolve difficulties on the playground.  You can see that after just one day the wreath has become very full!  The children shouldn't worry if their name is not yet on the wreath.  It doesn't mean that they haven't been kind, just that someone forgot to mention it or that we ran out of time to add it to the wreath.  By the end of next week, all the children's names will be on the wreath many times.  They are an extremely kind and caring bunch!
